UI / UX Design

Project Overview.

The brief was simple: Produce a visualisation concept for how F1 can be integrated into the Betway app to offer users a wealth of data and the full excitement of the race experience. The concepts would be presented to F1 for the right to be the official betting partner of the 2026 F1 season.

And you only have four days to do it...

My Role.

I was the creative lead on the project - essentially tasked with the overall look and feel of the UI designs, blending the elements of the F1 brand into the Betway Sportsbook, while enhancing it, ensuring consistency, and creating something visually stunning.

F1 had a very clear set of brand guidelines, and their website offered up a distinct visual language that needed to be translated into our app.

The Approach.

The work was to focus on three key areas, pre-race, live, and post-race.

The main event was the live section, in which a scrollable area of different data sets would be accessible by the user without clicking buttons and viewing different screens.

The Result.

The resulting work wowed the people at F1.
